"I was thirteen when I picked up a camera. After that I can't remember ever being without one. This isn't a hobby or a career, it's who I am. It sounds silly but I don't know any other way to describe it. My sisters, friends and even strangers suddenly became my models. Without a family car I'd just wander around, sometimes walking hours to find somewhere to take pictures. The pictures weren't for anything; I just needed to take them. Every day."
