Quote of the day

SHOW ME LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY

My role at the evet was an event photographer which meant that I was to take pictures of audience members coming into the event, take different photographic shots of the audience participating and interacting with the performances and pictures of the acts that were show casing their talents. I worked alongside another photographer named Keshia and Yemi.

AK photography which stands for 'Anita and Keshia' was something that we did together so that we could have our logo printed on each photo. It was also another way of publicity that way we could get more recognised.

Here are the pictures that were taking:

My Love for Black and White Photography

These are images that demonstrate my love for black and white photography.

Black and white photography has been used to signify specific characteristics and with it can be argued that black and white photography has connotations of showing the realism of things.

In the style of Nirrimi Hakanson

Here is my own interepretation style of Nirrimi Hakanson images.

Quote of the day

Famous Quotes by Nirrimi Hakanson

Quotes to be remembered by her:

"I was thirteen when I picked up a camera. After that I can't remember ever being without one. This isn't a hobby or a career, it's who I am. It sounds silly but I don't know any other way to describe it. My sisters, friends and even strangers suddenly became my models. Without a family car I'd just wander around, sometimes walking hours to find somewhere to take pictures. The pictures weren't for anything; I just needed to take them. Every day."

“I like scars, they remind you of things”

“i am so thankful sometimes i smile outloud, and as hard and long as you might try you could not break my spirit.”

“don’t grow up too fast, it’s overrated anyway.”

Nirrimi Hankson style of photogrpahy is a cross between documentary photogrpahy and fashion photogrpahy. Her genre is mainly on the focus of her sister and young teenagers living an ordianry lifestyle through the caption of photography that is classed as a 'moment' that is considered to be authentic.

Her fashion photogrpahy is depicted as being creative and having a lot of freedom which takes her all over the world.

Here are some of her images that she has photographed.

"She sees the industry and fashion photogrpahy as embracing more of what is real".
